2022 MARUTI ALTO
The new-generation Maruti Alto is reported to hit roads in July or August 2022. Its production might start by the end of June. The hatchback’s new model will be taller and higher than the existing version. While the crossover-ish stance with flatter roofline will give it a new look, the signature boxy stance will be retained. It will underpin the Heartech platform that’s used in the brand’s new breed cars.
Interior will be updated with features such as a touchscreen infotainment system with the smartphone connectivity, a semi digital instrument console, engine start/stop button and keyless entry. The new 2022 Maruti Alto will retain the existing 796cc petrol engine along with a new 1.0L K10C petrol unit. The hatchback might also get a CNG version. More details here…
