Summary
Mercedes-Benz introduced the reworked AMG GT R in India last year. This high-performance car can go from standstill to 100kmph in just 3.8 seconds. Besides its stretched bonnet hides a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 coupled with the AMG-spec seven-speed dual-clutch. This engine produces 577bhp of maximum power and 700Nm of torque that goes to the rear wheels. The AMG has a factory limited top speed of 318kmph.
Exterior
The front of the car now gets high-performance LED headlights with Mercedes-Benz signature DRLs. The A-type grille has vertical and horizontal slats with a big three-pointed-star positioned in the middle. The LED taillights, rear bumper and alloys are new too.
Interior
A 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch multimedia infotainment screens are new additions to the cockpit. These screens work with the MBUX and Mercedes Me Connect, and they can be operated through the multifunctional steering and a trackpad. Other features include leather upholstery for seats and a drive selector to choose driving modes.
