About Mercedes-Benz EQB
After listing the EQS sedan, Mercedes-Benz has added two new all-electric vehicles on its India website, the EQB and EQE. The EQB EV is based on the GLB SUV sold in some international markets and it is likely to be launched in India sometime in Q2 of 2022.
In terms of the exterior, the pure-electric EQB SUV is similar to its combustion engine sibling, the GLB. However, there is a distinction between the two. This fully-electric Merc features the EQ design elements such as an LED light bar at the front and back, a new-grille and distinctive alloy wheels. Apart from the design, the electric SUV is expected to be available in two variants: EQB 300 4Matic and EQB 350 4Matic.
On the inside, the most striking feature of the EQB is the five and seven-seat configuration. Other interior features include two 10.25-inch MBUX displays with an EQ menu, premium upholstery, multi-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, USB ports and multiple airbags.
The EQB has a 66.5kWh battery pack which provides a WLTP certified range of 419km. However, power output changes depending on the variants. For instance, the EQB300 makes 225bhp/390Nm, whereas the EQB350 produces 288bhp/520Nm.
