French two-wheeler maker, Peugeot Motorcycles has launched a special edition of its 125cc retro-scooter offering. Dubbed the Django 125 Eversion ABS Plus, the model gets a few add-ons compared to the standard model and is also just limited to 50 units.

The Eversion ABS Plus retains the styling from the standard Django 125. It boasts Vespa-like facia and long flowing side panels. What sets it apart is the additional transparent windscreen and the backrest for the pillion. Moreover, Django will also offer the special edition model in two new paint schemes: Dragon Red and Deep Ocean Blue.

Both the options consist of a two-tone treatment wherein the Django 125 Eversion gets the upper half draped in white and the lower half gets striking red colour. The same pattern is for Ocean Blue as well.

Django 125 is powered by a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder motor that develops 10.46bhp and 9.3Nm. It’s suspended on conventional telescopic forks and a single rear shock. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a 200mm front disc and a 190mm rear disc. It rides on 12-inch alloys.

In France, the Peugeot Django 125 Eversion ABS Plus retails at EUR 3,249 (approximately Rs 2.66 lakh excluding taxes). That’s quite a very high asking price considering the package on offer and Peugeot has no plans of entering India anytime soon.
