Ducati India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the most-expensive Streetfighter V4 variant. Christened as the Streetfighter V4 SP, this version of the company’s flagship roadster motorcycle gets styling and hardware upgrades over the standard model. Here we list the top five highlights of the new Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP.

Styling

The first noticeable difference is the styling of the motorcycle. While the design remains identical to the standard motorcycle, the SP variant distinguishes itself through the “Winter Test” livery. This paint theme, which features a dual-tone finish, takes inspiration from the Ducati Corse motorcycles used in MotoGP and SBK Championships pre-season tests. The paint theme brings Matte Black treatment to fairing along with a Matte Carbon finish on rims and wings. Further, bright red accents and a sparkling brushed aluminium fuel tank enhance the styling of the motorcycle. The SP version will be produced in limited numbers. And the progressive number is printed on the handlebar while the carbon wings feature an Italian flag colour scheme.

Features

The feature list is similar to the standard model, and the Streetfighter V4 SP packs full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled colour display, and a comprehensive safety package. This includes riding modes, power modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, engine brake control, auto tyre calibration, launch control, and a bi-directional quickshifter. Meanwhile, Ducati Data Analyser)+ with GPS module, Ducati Multimedia System, anti-theft, and heated grips are available as optional extras.

Hardware

The Streetfighter V4 SP sits on the top of the Streetfighter family. Thus, it gets top-spec hardware, including the Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension setup. The anchoring hardware packs Brembo-sourced hardware and the front uses the top-spec Brembo Stylema R callipers. Furthermore, the SP version rides on split-spoke carbon rims that are 1.4kg lighter than the forged aluminium units on the standard model. Other hardware unique to the SP variant includes adjustable aluminium and CNC-machined footpegs, carbon front mudguard, lithium-ion battery, and a range of track-only accessories.

While the SP variant packs several styling and hardware upgrades over the standard Streetfighter V4, the mechanical specifications remain unaltered. Do note that the SP variant uses the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch that is claimed to deliver a better anti-hopping function.

Price

Ducati India has launched the Streetfighter V4 SP at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 34.99 lakh, making it about Rs 14 lakh and Rs 10.76 lakh more expensive than the existing standard and S variants, respectively.
