Suzuki Motorcycle India has reported its sales data for June 2022. The Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer registered overall sales of 68,018 units last month. The two-wheeler maker sold 52,929 two-wheelers in the Indian market and exported 15,089 units in June 2022. Overall, Suzuki Motorcycle India registered a 37 per cent growth in June 2022 as compared to the corresponding month last year.

Speaking about the sales performance, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said that the consistent sales performance is the result of growing demand for Suzuki two-wheelers in India and in overseas markets. Uchida further added that the company remains committed to delivering quality products to its customers.

Meanwhile, the company is reshuffling its portfolio in the Indian market. The two-wheeler maker has updated its quarter-litre portfolio with the launch of the V-Strom SX while it discontinued the Intruder 150 from the Indian market.

Furthermore, Suzuki Motorcycle India will soon update its premium two-wheeler portfolio with the launch of the Katana. This litre-class model, which is already available in several international markets, will rival the likes of BMW S1000 XR and Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX in the Indian market.
