Yamaha recently updated the NMax 155 scooter in the Chinese market. Now, considering the success of the Aerox 155 in India, it is quite possible that Yamaha might think about bringing the NMax 155 scooter to India.

The NMax 155 gets the same single-cylinder liquid-cooled 155cc engine that powers the Aerox and makes 15hp and 13.8Nm of torque. The scooter gets a telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the back.

Braking duties of the scooter are handled by a 230mm disc both at the front and the back, paired with dual-channel ABS. Unlike the Aerox, the NMax gets smaller 13-inch wheels.

In addition to the under-seat storage, which is similar to that of the Aerox, the NMax also gets an option of a large 39-litre top box accessory.

One of the biggest addition in the updated NMax comes is the Traction Control system, which is likely to be similar to that of the R15 V4, as they both share the same engine.

The NMax 155 comes with a fully digital instrument cluster with MyRide app functionality and Bluetooth connectivity. The system displays email, call, and text alerts, along with the battery level, on your smartphone. Other notable features include the Start/Stop function and a waterproof cubby with a USB charger.
