MG G10 Summary
MG Motor India showcased the G10 MPV at the Auto Expo 2020. The MPV will be available in seven and nine-seat configuration. The vehicle was showcased a day after the launch of the Kia Carnival in India. At the time of launch the G10 MPV will be available in sliding door configuration and will compete against the likes of the Kia Carnival and Toyota’s popular seller, the Innova Crysta.
In terms of dimension, the MG G10 measures 5,168mm in length, 1,980mm width, 1,928mm height and has a wheelbase of 3,198mm. Interestingly, the MG G10 has more or less similar measurements as the Kia Carnival. At the time of launch, the MG G10 is expected to be offered with all the bells and whistles in the form of electronically adjustable captain seats in second row, ventilated and electric driver seat, UVO connected car features, panoramic sunroof and more.
In the international market, the MG G10 is available in two engine options – a 2.0-litre petrol and a 1.9-litre diesel. While in India, the G10 MPV is expected to share its powertrain options with the Gloster. The MG G10 is likely to get a 2.0-litre petrol engine which produces 214bhp/350Nm and a 2.0-litre diesel which produces 212bhp/480Nm.
In terms of safety, the MG G10 is expected to offer a 360-degree camera, multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESP.
