Release date
Mahindra will introduce the XUV.e8 in the Indian market in December 2024. Unveiled on 15 August, 2022, the electric SUV is the electric equivalent of the XUV700.
Electric powertrain, range, and performance
The XUV.e8 is expected to get a 60-80kWh capacity battery pack. It is also likely to feature a dual electric motor setup, which could produce between 335bhp and 389bhp. Mahindra has also confirmed that the electric SUV will come equipped with an all-wheel drive.
Features
Mahindra is expected to offer a host of features with the XUV.e8, such as Level 2+ autonomy, 5G connectivity, over-the-air updates, connected car features with smartwatch compatibility, driver drowsiness detection, sizable driver display and touchscreen infotainment system, multi re-gen modes, and more.
Price
The XUV.e8 could cost around Rs 21-30 lakh.
