BYD Atto 3 Summary
Market introduction

The BYD Atto SUV is expected to be launched in India in October 2022

Exterior

The exterior design of the BYD Atto 3 is a crossover shape with multiple design elements like the chrome grille, wide bumper and sleek headlights that sit like slivers on the side. In profile, there are many lines which stand well alongside the flared wheel arches, large diamond-cut wheels and sloping roofline. At the rear, there is a single-piece tail lamp, thick bumper and minimal badging.

The international spec car is offered in bright colours to help it stand out and the car that will be brought to India is expected to be no different. The BYD Atto 3 measures in at 4.45-meters with a wheelbase of 2.72-meters putting it in a similar category as cars like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Nissan Kicks in terms of size.

Interior

The cabin of the BYD Atto 3 is the standard fare of what is expected in this part of the market with lots of chrome, high-quality plastics and a speed boat-like single-piece cowl that runs from side to side. The AC vents and the climate control interface have lots of vertical lines while the digital instrument cluster is a small unit that sits behind the funky-looking steering wheel. The international spec BYD Atto 3 gets a black and beige theme and we expect the same for India.
