Engine and transmission:

The SUV gets a 6.5-litre V12engine under the hood that produces 715bhp and 716Nm of torque. This powerhouse is mated to an eight-speed DCT gearbox which further transfers the power to all the four-wheels.

Exterior and Interior:

Being a Ferrari SUV, we expect it to offer comfortable seating for four along with a practical boot. The dashboard and seats – in typical Ferrari fashion – will be sporty and offer immense amount of driver involvement. We expect sporty bits from the 812 Superfast and the newly revealed SF90 Stradale to be carried over in the Purosangue as well.

Codenamed F16X internally, many rumours surround the Purosangue, one of which is that it will have an all-aluminium chassis and that the B-pillar will be eliminated with the use of suicidal doors. Ferrari has remained tight-lipped about their first-ever SUV and at this point, your guess is as good as ours.

Safety and features:

The SUV comes equipped with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a touchscreen rotatory dial for the AC, touch controls on the steering wheel and centre console, and a wireless phone charger. Besides this, it also gets a massage function in the front seats, rear heated seats, and an optional entertainment kit in the rear. It also has four-wheel steering, suicide doors, and adjustable ride height.

The Ferrari Purosangue has a seating capacity of four passengers.

Its rivals include the Lamborghini Urus, Porsche Cayenne, Rolls Royce Cullinan, Aston Martin DBX and the Range Rover Sport.
