MG ZS EV Latest Updates
The facelifted MG ZS EV has been launched in India. It gets cleaner styling, with new bumpers, restyled 17-inch alloy wheels, and the Astor’s lighting setup. The most noticeable change inside the facelifted model is the Astor-like dashboard layout, featuring a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver’s display and a panoramic sunroof. It also adds a rear centre armrest, a headrest for centre occupants, and rear AC vents. There’s also ADAS features like blind spot warning, lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert, and rear parking assist

Under the hood, there’s more potent 176PS electric powertrain and a larger 50.3kWh battery, offering a claimed range of up to 461km on a single charge.

Under the hood it is now powered by a more potent 176PS electric powertrain, coupled with a larger 50.3kWh battery pack.This translates to a claimed range of 461km on a single charge. As for charging options, a 7.4kW is claimed to do a 0-100 percent charge in 8.5 to 9 hours, whereas a 50kW fast charger can charge from 0-80 percent in just 1 hour.

MG ZS EV Variants
Will be offered in the Excite and Exclusive trims. The base-spec Excite will be available from July 2022, while the top-spec Exclusive is available at launch.

MG ZS EV Features
Its cabin has been overhauled, and is heavily inspired by the Astor with highlights being a larger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver’s display, and a 360-degree camera. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, i-Smart connected car tech, cruise control, a powered driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof and auto headlights and wipers are retained. Rear seat occupants now get AC vents and an armrest. While six airbags, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitor continue to be retained, the updated ZS EV now gets some ADAS features in the form of blind spot warning, lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert, and rear parking assist.
