BMW is all set to introduce the new M340i, X7, and XM in the country next month. The XM debuted as the sole M model in May this year, whereas both the M340i xDrive and the X7 underwent mid-life facelift updates in 2022. So, let’s have a quick look at the upcoming models.

The XM

Since the M1, there have been two solo M models. The XM is the first M vehicle to feature a plug-in hybrid drivetrain, which comprises a 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbocharged petrol engine, an electric motor, and an eight-speed automated transmission. The hybrid powertrain is capable of producing a maximum of 653bhp and 800Nm of peak torque. The XM has a top speed of 270km/h and can go from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.3 seconds.
