Toyota has revealed the new generation Toyota Innova Hycross in India. Bookings for the MPV are underway for Rs 50,00 and deliveries will commence from January 2023. The design of the MPV has evolved over the previous generations and its silhouette looks more like an conventional MPV with plenty of SUV-like design touches. For the first time ever, the Innova isn’t offered with a diesel powertrain, instead, it gets a strong-hybrid and a naturally aspirated petrol powertrain option. It also gets a host of new features like a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats and a host of ADAS technology.

Toyota Innova Hycross Engine
The Toyota Innova Hycross gets a strong-hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.0-litre petrol unit paired to a strong hybrid unit combining together to produce around 190PS. Power is delivered to the front wheels only. A petrol-only powertrain with an output of around 170PS is also offered, but isn’t a diesel engine option. The hybrid powertrain has a fuel efficiency of 21.1kmpl. The MPV is 4,755mm long, 1,850mm wide, and has a height of 1,795mm. It has a wheelbase of 2,850mm.
Toyota Innova Hycross Variants
The Toyota Innova Hycross gets eight variant options: G 7S, G 8S, GX 7S, GX 8S, VX 7S, VX 8S, ZX, ZX(O). The first four trims are for the non-hybrid powertrain, while the remaining are for the hybrid powertrain.

Top new feature additions in the Innova Hycross include a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, and ADAS. Bits like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, steering-mounted audio controls, and keyless entry with push-button start have been retained. It comes loaded with safety features such as multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, a rear view camera, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and hill start assist.
