The TVS Apache RTR 180 is one of the most popular motorcycles in its segment. While the styling has remained more or less the same over the years, in its latest iteration, the bike now gets a new LED headlight and taillight, along with a few nifty updates.

TVS Apache RTR 180 Price:

The TVS Apache RTR 180 is priced at Rs 1,30,590, meaning a Rs 9,900 increase over its previous iteration (ex-showroom Delhi). It has two colours on offer: Gloss Black and Pearl White.

TVS Apache RTR 180 Features:

The RTR 180 now gets a new full digital instrument cluster which has voice assist as standard, along with three riding modes: Sport, Urban and Rain (both segment-first features). In typical TVS fashion, the bike gets a ton of features like bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, ride stats and more. The bike now also gets a new LED headlight as well as an LED taillamp. Its Glide Through Technology is a low-speed assist feature that lets the bike crawl in city traffic by just clutch modulation. As far as safety is concerned, the bike gets single-channel ABS and integrated frame sliders as standard.

TVS Apache RTR 180 Engine:

Powering the BS6-compliant RTR 180 is the familiar 177.4cc single-cylinder motor as before, but it now makes 17.02PS at 9000rpm and 15.05Nm at 7000rpm; 0.23PS more but 0.45Nm less than the previous model. The motor is mated to a 5-speed transmission.

The TVS Apache RTR 180 is built on a double-cradle frame linked to a telescopic front fork and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers. Brakes include a 270mm petal disc up front and a 200mm petal disc at the rear, with single channel ABS as standard. The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with a 90-section tyre up front, and gets a wider 120-section rubber at the rear.
