It is the result of 35 years of TVS’ racing expertise, and is built in collaboration with BMW Motorrad. The TVS-BMW engine platform has also spawned the BMW G 310 RR, BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS.

TVS Apache RR 310 Price:

The TVS Apache RR 310 is priced at Rs 2,65,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is available in two colour schemes: Titanium Black, and Racing Red.

TVS Apache RR 310 Features:

TVS offers two kits (Dynamic and Race) for an enhanced riding experience. The Dynamic Kit includes adjustable suspension (explained in the forthcoming paragraphs) and an anti-rust brass-coated drive chain for reliability. It costs Rs 12,000 when ordered via the online configurator for the updated bike. On the other hand, the Race Kit features a pair of lowered, slightly tucked-in clip-on handlebars, and 30mm taller knurled footpegs offering 4.5 degrees of extra lean angle. This one would cost you Rs 5,000 if ordered for the updated bike through the online configurator.

One of the biggest updates the TVS Apache RR 310 received was the full-colour TFT screen. It came loaded with information such as post-ride analytics, gear shift assist indicator, turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle health information, vehicle status, and overview. In the latest iteration, the instrument cluster shows the engine temperature with RPM parameters under the Dynamic engine rev limit indicator, day trip meter, and an overspeed indicator. The console can now also store and display bike-related documents. Other notable features include the ability to accept and reject calls using the control buttons placed on the left-hand-side switchgear. The Apache RR 310 also comes equipped with Glide Through Technology Plus (GTTP) and a hazard switch.

TVS Apache RR 310 Engine:

The updated iteration retains the same powertrain as its predecessor, but the exhaust system is new. Its redesigned geometry offers better cornering clearance, a sportier exhaust note and improved (claimed) engine response. The 312.2cc engine runs on two different power maps that are available through four ride modes (Rain, Urban, Sport, Track). The first map, which is meant for Rain and Urban, restricts the power output to 25.8PS. The second map, used for Sport and Track, unleashes the full 34PS. Same goes for torque — 25Nm and 27.3Nm respectively. The engine is paired mated to a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch.

TVS Apache RR 310 Suspension & Brakes:

While the updated model retains the same inverted cartridge front fork and rear monoshock, the optional Dynamic Kit includes an adjustable inverted front fork with 20-step compression, rebound damping, and a 15mm preload adjustment. The kit also comes with a 10-step preload and 20-step rebound-adjustable rear monoshock.

The braking duties are handled by a 300mm front petal disc with radial caliper and a 240mm rear petal disc with dual-channel ABS. The sensitivity and intrusiveness of the ABS will continue to vary according to the four riding modes. The 17-inch alloys are wrapped in the same Michelin Road 5 rubber as before.

TVS Apache RR 310 Rivals:

The TVS Apache RR 310 will continue its feud with the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 300, the BMW G 310 RR, and the updated KTM RC 390 in the sub-400cc class.
