After launching the new four-valve version of the Xpulse 200T in India, Hero MotoCorp has removed the older two-valve version of the motorcycle from its official website. Although the company hasn’t officially confirmed its discontinuation yet, the introduction of the more potent 4V version makes it logical to phase out the relatively dated 2V model.

The 200T is the more road-focused version of the Xpulse 200 adventure motorcycle. Making it more tarmac-friendly is a pair of 17-inch alloy wheels, as opposed to the ADV’s 21-18-inch spoke wheel combination. It also boasts a different styling that has been slightly tweaked in the latest 4V iteration. The new model incorporates a tiny fly screen, front fork gaiters, a body-coloured cylinder head, a tubular pillion grab rail, and a different seat. Moreover, the introduction of three new colour options makes it look even more fresh and stylish.

The replacement of the two-valve head with a four-valve setup has resulted in a slight bump in the bike’s power and torque output. Now, it churns out 18.8bhp and 17.35Nm which is about 1bhp and 1.2Nm more than before. The transmission setup, meanwhile, continues to be a five-speed unit. As for the features, the package comprises a Bluetooth-enabled LCD console, a USB charging port, a side-stand sensor, and single-channel ABS.
