Jawa 42 Bobber is a cruiser bike available at a starting price of Rs. 2,11,157 in India. It is available in 3 variants and 3 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 2,11,310. The Jawa 42 Bobber is powered by 334cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 30.2 bhp and a torque of 32.74 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Jawa 42 Bobber comes up with anti-locking braking system.
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the 42 Bobber in the Indian market to rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
This is the second Bobber-style motorcycle from Jawa Yezdi. Similar to the Perak, the new Jawa 42 Bobber packs bobber motorcycle-inspired styling and features minimalist bodywork, chopped fenders, a low single seat, and fat tyres. Further, this motorcycle also gets styling elements such as a round headlight with chrome mask, flat handlebar, bar-end mirrors, tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, a rider-only saddle, and twin-sided chopped-style exhaust canisters. However, unlike the Perak, the saddle on the 42 Bobber is two-step adjustable and can be moved as per the rider’s preferences.
Meanwhile, the feature list on this motorcycle includes full-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster as standard. The switchgear is similar to the Yezdi motorcycles, and so is the USB charging setup.
The mechanical specifications on the new 42 Bobber comprise a Perak-sourced 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor is tuned to produce 30.2bhp and 32.74Nm of peak torque. The hardware includes telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock to handle suspension tasks. The braking hardware includes single disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net comprises Continental-sourced dual-channel ABS.
This motorcycle is available in a single variant and three colours and the paint options affect the ex-showroom prices of this motorcycle. The Mystic Copper paint theme is the most affordable on the list, while the Moonstone White colour and Jasper Red (Dual Tone) colours are sold at a relatively higher ex-showroom price tag.
