Keeway Vieste 300 is a scooter available at a starting price of Rs. 3,20,000 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 3 colours. Keeway has entered the Indian market with the launch of three products. Among the list is the Yamaha Aerox 155-rivaling Vieste 300 maxi-scooter that is loaded with many appealing features. The styling cues include sleek, split-style, apron-mounted headlight, a flyscreen, split-style footboard, and a step-up saddle.
The mechanical specifications include a 278.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that develops 18.7bhp of power and 22Nm of peak torque. The power output is nearly 4bhp higher than its closest rival, the Aerox 155.
The feature list comprises of LED lighting and semi-digital instrument cluster. The console features an LCD screen in the centre flanked by two analog dials. The LCD screen shows time, engine temperature, fuel level, odometer and speed. The Vieste 300 also gets keyless operation and the scooter can be locked/unlocked through a centrally mounted dial.
The hardware on the Keeway Vieste 300 include telescopic front forks and dual rear springs to handle the suspension tasks. The anchoring duties are performed by a 240mm disc at the front and a 220mm rotor at the back while the safety net is handled by dual-channel ABS. The maxi-scooter rides on 13-inch wheels that are shod in a 110/70 front and a 130/70 rear tyre.
