Mahindra Bolero

The Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo seem to have received a small update in the form of a logo change. The two SUVs with the new ‘Twin Peaks’ Mahindra logo were spotted outside different dealerships. They don’t seem to feature any other changes to either the interior or the exterior apart from the new logo.

Mahindra Bolero engine and features

A walkaround of the updated Bolero reveals that the utility vehicle is largely identical to the facelifted model we are all familiar with. It retains its boxy stance and facelifted front fascia as before. At the rear, you still get clear lens taillights, but the wheel cover on the tailgate now has a prominent ‘Twin Peaks’ logo.

Inside, it retains the older dashboard design with rectangular air vents and a digitised instrument cluster. The only discernible change here is the new logo on the steering wheel. Apart from these changes, the Bolero also gets a revised key with the ‘Twin Peaks’ logo.

The well-aged Mahindra Bolero continues to be equipped with features such as manual air conditioning, single DIN audio system, power windows, jump seats in the third row, dual front airbags and rear parking sensors. It’s powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 75PS and 210Nm and it comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Mahindra Bolero Neo

The Bolero Neo is essentially the facelifted TUV300 and is positioned as a more premium Bolero. The spied model was of a lower variant with a black plastic front grille that houses Mahindra’s new logo for SUVs. It seems largely unchanged otherwise.

Under the bonnet, the Bolero Neo gets a similarly sized but more powerful mHawk 1.5-litre diesel engine that pushes 100PS and 260Nm. It’s paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
