BMW C 400 GT is a scooter available at a starting price of Rs. 10,74,904 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 2 colours. The BMW C 400 GT is powered by 350cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 33.5 bhp and a torque of 35.25 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, BMW C 400 GT comes up with anti-locking braking system. This C 400 GT scooter weighs 214 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12.8 liters.

BMW Motorrad has updated its Indian portfolio with the launch of a new maxi-scooter, the C 400 GT. This new model from the German manufacturer will be available as a completely built-up unit (CBU) and the bookings for the vehicle are currently open across India.

The new BMW C 400 GT uses a 350cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is tuned to deliver a maximum power output of 33.5bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 35Nm at 5,750rpm. The motor is linked to a CVT gearbox. BMW Motorrad claims a 0-100kmph acceleration time of 9.5 seconds while the top speed is rated at 139kmph.

In terms of styling, the new C 400 GT comes with an apron-mounted headlight, a tall windscreen, a step-up saddle, and a muscular design. The scooter is equipped with a twin-pod LED headlight with LED daytime running lights at the front, integrated LED turn indicators, two glove compartments, a flex case under the single-section seat, and a Keyless Ride. The ride-related data is available on the Bluetooth-enabled 6.5-inch full-colour TFT screen. A rider can scroll through the functions with the BMW Motorrad Multi-Controller. The C 400 GT is equipped with a side stand and a centre stand. The scooter is available in two colour choices – Style Triple Black and Alpine White.

The hardware on the C 400 GT comprises a tubular steel frame, telescopic front forks, and two spring struts at the back. The braking duties are performed by twin discs at the front and a single rotor at the rear while the safety net includes ABS. The scooter rides on 15-inch front/14-inch rear tyres.
