The all-new Mahindra Thar is an upgraded version to the Thar which was first launched in 2010. A decade after, Mahindra Thar seems to give tough competition in the market to rival cars like Kia Sonet, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta and many others. Being an exclusively designed compact sport utility vehicle, the all-new Mahindra is a perfect ride for conquering long roads. Its powerful 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine and its new mStallion turbocharged petrol engine are regulated under the latest BS6 emission. The new diesel engine is known to generate a maximum horsepower of 130 bhp and a torque of 300 Nm.

Whereas, the all-new turbocharged petrol engine gives a horsepower of 150 bhp and 320 Nm of Torque. While all the petrol variants with both manual and automatic transmission are known to give a mileage of 15.2 Km/l, on the other hand, the diesel engine of both manual and automatic transmission has a mileage of 13 Km/l. Thus, the all-new Mahindra Thar can be called a powerful package that is loaded with all the state-of-the-art features and equipment which makes it a purchase worth making.
