he BMW X8 is a rumoured four-door coupe SUV from the Bavarian car maker. Considering BMW already offers a feature-rich SUV in the form of the X7, the X8 could be the more sporty, stylish and driver-oriented. Like the X4 is based on the X3 and the X6 is based on the X5, the X8 will be based on the X7 flagship SUV with a focus on progressive design and sporty handling. The BMW X8 is tend to borrow most of its styles from the X7, Excluding the roof line of course. A lot could be carried from the X7, especially the large grille, slim headlights and taillights. But more muscle could be added to the design with sculpted rear haunches and the flowing roofline meeting a raised boot -lid. The X8 is expected to be revealed in India in Jun 2023. The price could range between 1 crore – 1.2 crore tentatively. The X8 could also provide the perfect platform for a performance-oriented ‘M’ variant, which the X7 has not received as it is not proportioned and positioned to work well with the sporty-complexion of ‘M’ cars. The X8 M could use the same 4.4-litre, V8 used under the hood of the recently launched M8 Coupe with power and torque bumped up from the existing 591bhp/750Nm.
