rcedes-Benz recently removed the GLC SUV from their Indian website. The carmaker plans to launch the next-gen Mercedes-Benz GLC later in 2023. The next-gen model will come with a refreshed exterior and interior. The powertrain now gets a 48V mild-hybrid system with both petrol and diesel units. While the diesel unit is a 2.0 litre with 194.30 bhp, the 2.0-litre petrol is offered in two states of tune: 201 bhp and 254.47 bhp. The luxury SUV also gets plug-in hybrid options which includes two petrol engines producing up to 375.78 bhp and a diesel engine producing 326.47 bhp. One of the defining design highlights of the Mercedes-Benz GLC is the redesigned front end, with headlamps that connect directly to the radiator grille to emphasise the vehicle’s width. It also features Digital light headlamps with additional daytime driving light ellipses and new blue trim, plus active floor lighting, are available as optional extras. Other features of the sporty appearance are the wide track and flush wheels in 18- to 20-inch size. After the S-class and C-class, the new GLC also receives the second generation of the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz user experience) infotainment system.
