Honda Civic has been successful in capturing the market since its comeback after 6 years of absence. It has been selling well when compared to its rivals. Honda is now planning to give it an update soon to make it more attractive and better than the competition. 2020 Honda Civic will get revised foglamp housing, LED Daytime-Running Lamps and full LED headlamps for perfect projection during the night time. The front and the rear bumper will be tweaked so that they look much sportier. Honda may also introduce a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels which will be known as Shark Grey. 2020 Honda Civic interior will feature various luxury features like a dual-zone automatic climate control system with rear air conditioning vents, electric sunroof, leather steering wheel, ivory leather upholstery and ambient display. Honda also gives many comfort features to the driver too like cruise control, one push start/stop button, an 8-way driver power seat, auto-dimming interior view mirror and fully adjustable multifunction steering wheel. There is a multi-information display shows vital information to the driver so the driver does not have to get his eyes off the road. The higher trims get a 17.7 cm touchscreen infotainment display system which comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for seamless smartphone connectivity. The infotainment system can also be controlled via voice commands. Braking duties are done by discs in the front and at the rear. Safety features include airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Lane-Watch Camera and Anti-lock Braking System with EBD. There are rear parking sensors with multi-view rear parking camera with dynamic guidelines to easily park the executive sedan.
Honda Civic 2020 specs in the foreign market come with a base level 1.0-litre petrol engine which produces a max power output of 124bhp. The engine is mated to a CVT automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission. The higher trims come with 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines which are good for making a max power output of 180bhp. The 1.5-litre engine is only expected to come with a CVT automatic transmission. Honda Civic 2020 price is expected to start from Rs. 18 lakhs to Rs. 25 lakhs.
