As the XL6 was a success in the market. Maruti Suzuki may soon release a new offering from their premium dealerships “Nexa”. The test mule has been spotted many times wearing camouflage. The interior will be derived from the XL6 and will get the all-black theme for a more sporty appeal. Maruti Suzuki will also offer the latest generation of the SmartPlay audio system which comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The rear parking camera with rear sensors will help the driver in parking the new hatch. We expect that the XL5 specifications will include the same BS-6 compliant 1.2-litre engine which is doing duty on other Maruti cars. This engine produces 81.80bhp of max power and 113Nm of peak torque. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT.
