Latest Update: MG has given a glimpse of the Comet EV’s interiors for the first time.
Launch: It will be launched in April.
Price: It could be priced from Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Battery pack and Range: The international variants are offered with two battery packs: 17.3kWh and 26.7kWh. Both come mated to a 40PS rear-wheel drive (RWD) electric motor. The smaller battery pack delivers 200km on a single charge, while the bigger battery pack offers a range of 300km.
Features: MG’s ultra compact EV could get an integrated digital screen setup (10.25-inch unit each for infotainment and instrumentation), connected car tech, auto AC and steering-mounted controls.
Safety: It will likely come with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC) and a rear parking camera.
Rivals: Although the Comet EV won’t have any direct rivals, it will take on the likes of Tata Tiago EV and the Citroen C3 EV.
