Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 is expected to launch in India in June 2023 in the expected price range of ₹ 9,00,000 to ₹ 9,50,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to Scrambler Mach 2.0 are Ducati Scrambler Icon, Triumph Scrambler 900 & Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard. Another bike similar to Scrambler Mach 2.0 is Benelli Leoncino 800 which is launching in August 2023 in India.

The Scrambler Mach 2.0 is part of the six-motorcycle Scrambler range from Ducati. The motorcycle is based on the standard Scrambler Icon. However, it packs a few cosmetic changes that distinguish it from the rest of the series.

In terms of styling, the Scrambler Mach 2.0 features a retro-look that is enhanced it its white, orange and yellow paint scheme. The colour theme, which is created by Roland Sands, a renowned designer from California, is reminiscent of the ‘70s West Coast style.

The equipment list comprises of a flat track seat, black exhaust and black cylinder covers. The styling cues that are similar to the standard Ducati Scrambler include round headlamp, alloy wheels, eccentrically mounted instrument cluster and the upright riding position.

The BS6-compliant model will most likely come with revised power and torque output figures. While the numbers for the BS6 model are not available yet, the BS4 model was tuned to draw 74bhp and 68Nm of torque from its 803cc L-twin air-cooled engine. The BS6 model will continue to use a six-speed transmission.

Other hardware on the motorcycle comprises of 41mm inverted forks up front and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock – both sourced from Kayaba – to perform the suspension tasks. The anchoring setup comprises of Brembo with a 330mm front disc and a 245mm disc at the rear with ABS as standard. The motorcycle boasts a seat height 790mm and a kerb weight of 186 kg.

The BS6 model will most likely carry a price premium over its predecessor that was sold for Rs 8.52 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Its direct rival in the Indian market is the Triumph Street Twin.
