Bajaj Platina 110 Latest Updates

The Bajaj Platina 110 is India’s most affordable bike with ABS. Click here to know the details. It is a no-nonsense, frugal commuter with special emphasis on comfort.

Bajaj Platina 110 Engine

Bajaj Platina 110 is powered by a single-cylinder, 115.45cc, air-cooled, electronic carburetted engine which is linked to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine churns out 8.6PS and 9.81Nm. The bike is put together on a single-downtube lower-cradle frame, which gets suspended on a telescopic front fork and twin rear spring-over-spring shock absorbers. Braking is handled via 240mm disc or a 130mm drum up front and a 110mm drum unit at the rear. The disc variant gets a single-channel ABS, whereas the drum version comes with combined braking as a safety feature. It runs on 17-inch alloy wheels which come wrapped in 80-section tubeless tyres. The disc variant has a 10.5-litre fuel tank with a 123kg kerb weight, while the drum variant gets 11-litre capacity with a 119kg kerb weight. Both bikes come with 807mm seat height and a generous 200mm ground clearance.

Bajaj Platina 110 Variants

The Platina 110 is offered in two variants by the manufacturer with notable differences. While the standard drum variant comes with analogue instrumentation, its ABS counterpart gets a digital console with aforementioned extra features. While the two models of this bike are offered in different colours, the stickers look similar across the board.

Bajaj Platina 110 Design

The Platina 110 comes with basic commuter designing. The manufacturer has clearly focused more on its functionality rather than the form factor. The bike gets a long and ribbed seat with a flat footboard instead of footpegs for the pillion rider. It comes with a bikini fairing with LED DRLs right above the headlight. The fuel tank and side panels carry quite a simple and slim look. The ABS iteration of this bike comes with similar power figures, but sports a digital console and comes in different shades.

Bajaj Platina 110 Features

Bajaj Platina 110 comes with a basic design. It features an analogue instrument console which houses the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge along with other telltale lights. The ABS variant of the Platina 110 features a digital instrument cluster that displays the regular trove of information like speed, fuel level, tripmeter and odometer and also houses an ABS indicator and gear position indicator with shift indicator to eke out better mileage from the engine.
