Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Latest Updates

The Royal Enfield Hunter is the motorcycle maker’s most affordable motorcycle under the J-platform, and is also the second least expensive motorcycle after the Royal Enfield Bullet 350.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Engine

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is powered by a single-cylinder, 349cc, fuel-injected, air/oil-cooled engine (same as in Meteor 350 and Classic 350). Despite a slightly sportier state of tune than the Classic, it produces the same 20.39PS and 27Nm and gets paired to a five-speed transmission. The Hunter is built on a twin downtube spine frame, which is suspended on a 41mm front-fork and six-step preload-adjustable dual rear shocks. The braking is handled by a 300mm front disc and 270mm disc/153mm drum at the rear. The bike comes either with dual-channel ABS or single-channel ABS (in drum variants). The bike sports a 13-litre fuel tank. It has a seat height of 790mm with 150.5mm ground clearance and weighs 181kg (kerb).

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Variants

The Hunter is offered in two models with some noticeable differences. The standard Retro variant comes in two colours and has spoked wheels (with tube-type tyres), rear drum brakes (single-channel ABS), simple semi-digital console, boxy indicators, halogen tail lamp and conventional-looking pillion grab-rails. The more premium Metro variant gets six colours and features cast-alloy wheels (with tubeless tyres), rear-disc (dual-channel ABS) circular indicators, a more info-packed analogue-digital instrument console, LED tail lamp and modern-looking split grab-rails….Read More

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Design

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 features retro-roadster styling with circular headlight, rear-view mirrors, taillight and turn indicators. Its teardrop-shaped fuel tank and rotary switches add to its retro appearance. The bike comes with both spoke and alloy wheels depending on the variant you choose.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Features

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 (high-end variants) gets a digital-analogue instrument console which is the same as the one on Scram 411. The bike comes with an optional Tripper Navigation pod (for turn-by-turn navigation) and a USB charging port for juicing up your devices on the go. The instrumentation includes an analogue speedometer with an LCD inset for the clock, gear position, trip meter, fuel gauge and “Eco” mode prompt. However, it does miss out on real-time mileage gauge, a distance-to-empty meter and even lacks LED lighting. Also, the spoke wheel variant comes with a relatively simpler semi-digital setup with speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge and tell-tale lights.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Competitors

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 rivals the likes of the Jawa 42, Honda CB350RS, TVS Ronin and the upcoming Triumph-Bajaj motorcycle.
