The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 features a bunch of new, updated hardware. Click here to know more. The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is a performance-oriented streetfighter based on the KTM 200 Duke. It was the first motorcycle to come out of the KTM-Bajaj partnership. At the time, the NS200 was also Bajaj’s most powerful Pulsar.

Price:

The Pulsar NS200 is available in only one variant, priced at Rs 1,49,363 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is offered in four paint schemes: Ebony Black, Pearl Metallic White, Cocktail Wine Red and Pewter Grey.

Features:

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 features aggressive streetfighter styling. In terms of features, it makes do with a halogen headlight with pilot lamps, and a semi-digital instrument cluster displaying information such as speed, fuel level, odometer and trip meter readings, and other regular trove of information. The updated model gets a slightly revised console with a distance to empty readout, real-time mileage indicator, as well as a gear position indicator.

Engine:

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine linked to a six-speed gearbox, producing 24.5PS at 9750rpm and 18.7Nm at 8000rpm. The updated bike returns a claimed mileage of 37kmpl , and is BS6 Phase-2 compliant.

Suspension & Brakes:

The 2023 Pulsar NS200 is built on a perimeter frame, and is suspended on a 33mm inverted fork and a Nitrox (gas-charged) monoshock. The 17-inch alloys come with MRF Nylogrip Zapper FY2 tubeless rubber: 100-section front and 130-section rear. Braking is courtesy the 300mm front and a 230mm rear disc with Grimeca callipers. It gets dual-channel ABS as standard. 

Rivals:

The NS200 rivals the TVS Apache 200 and the KTM Duke 200. However, in its price bracket, there are other alternatives like the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF.
