BMW Z4 Highlights

The BMW Z4 is a convertible car that comes with a maximum of sportiness. It gets an iconic roadster design and sports car dynamics. It is also provided with an aerodynamics package, innovative features, and a BMW operating system 7.

BMW Z4 Engine and other Specifications

The heart of this roadster is a BMW twin-power turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine that delivers peak power and torque of up to 375bhp and 500 Nm, respectively, to offer thrilling driving performance. With such torque delivery from the 2998cc engine, this BMW car achieves an impressive acceleration of 0-100 km/h within 4.5 seconds on its way to the top speed of 250 km/h, as claimed by the manufacturer.

The car has been equipped with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission system that effectively transfers the engine power to the wheels making it propel smoothly. Further, this rear-wheel-drive car gets three ride modes – Comfort, ECO PRO, and Sport – to offer the feasibility to select a mode that suits the driving style of your choice or maybe the driving conditions. The options to select the ride mode make the drive more effortless yet exhilarating.

Moving further onto the specifications, the BMW Z4 is provided with the Adaptive M suspension setup that is adjustable and offers a wonderful and safer driving experience by means of getting adapted to road type as well as your driving style. Along with this, it gets an M-sport differential that optimizes the traction during a lane change and high-speed bends, to ensure improved driving stability. In addition, the M sport brakes, with four-piston calipers in the front and single-piston floating calipers in the rear, provide excellent stopping power.

BMW Z4 Exterior

The exterior design of this BMW convertible flaunts progressive aesthetics and iconic presence. The M-specific front and rear apron give it an aggressive look while the side skirts exude elegance. Further, it displays a Cerium Grey kidney frame grille and a brand logo tipped above it. The headlights boast a striking design with integrated daytime running lights in them.

The side profile exhibits creases and sharp lines which work as parts of the aerodynamic package to add to the vehicle’s performance. The door handles are in body tone and the rear-view mirrors boast integrated blinkers. Being a convertible car, it gets a soft top that further adds to the style.

In the rear, the BMW Z4 Roadster showcases wedge-shaped tail lights with integrated turn indicators, and the brand logo and model branding have been placed in between the tail lights.

BMW Z4 Interior

The cabin of this car has been furnished with M sport seats for the driver and front passenger with deep sitting surface, backrest bolsters, and comfortable and luxury headrests. The front seats also have adjustability features based on the person’s body dimensions. It further boasts an ambient lighting feature to offer a relaxing feel while the two-zone automatic air-conditioning adds to the comfort. Furthermore, the cabin gets a BMW Live cockpit including navigation with 3D maps, a 10.25-inch display screen with touch functionality, and a configurable user interface.

The BMW Z4 interior also encompasses a multifunction leather steering wheel, storage compartment package, wireless charging feature, and velour floor mats, among many other cabin inclusions.

BMW Z4 Safety Features

On the safety front, this newly launched car has been equipped with airbags, side impact protection, three-point seatbelts for all seats, a run flat indicator, and a child seat ISOFIX attachment, among the essential safety equipment. Moreover, it gets an Antilock braking system with brake assist, dynamic stability control, dynamic traction control, cornering brake control, run-flat indicators, and a crash sensor, to name a few.

BMW Z4 Price and Variants

This convertible is sold in a single variant christened M40i and six colour options – Alpine White, Black Sapphire metallic, M Portimao Blau metallic, San Francisco red metallic, Skyscraper grey metallic, and Thunder Night metallic.
