MG ZS EV Latest Update

The ZS EV was first introduced to India in 2020. In 2022, the carmaker gave the ZS EV a facelift offering cosmetic changes, more equipment and a bigger battery pack. The ZS EV gets a 50.2kWh battery pack which gives the car a claimed range of 461km (ICAT). It is powered by a single front-axle mounted electric motor that produces 176hp and 280Nm.

The top-end version of the SUV, costing above Rs 25 lakh, is certainly on the pricier side. However, the ZS EV justifies the premium with its well appointed interiors, plenty of equipment and good real-world range. Buyers willing to let go of certain equipment can choose the lower priced Excite variant which gets the same battery pack, and therefore, the same range. The MG ZS EV was always a practical choice in the EV SUV segment and the facelift continues to be so.
