The Ducati Diavel V4 will be Ducati’s third power cruiser to be launched in India after the Diavel 1260 and XDiavel. The bike has a roadster appeal but with sleek lines that are unique to the motorcycle. It features double-C-shaped LED daytime running lights, a large fuel tank and a bold three-pod exhaust muffle. Already launched in the international markets, the Diavel V4 is set to be launched in India in September 2023.

The Ducati Diavel V4 now features the Multistrada V4-derived 1158cc V4 engine, delivering a power output of 168 bhp and a torque of 126 Nm. This represents a 5.9 bhp increase in power compared to the Diavel 1260, while the torque remains 4 Nm lower. The bike is 13 kg lighter than the Diavel 1260, giving it a higher power-to-weight ratio.

The Diavel V4 is suspended by 50 mm USDs at the front and a monoshock at the rear-mounted to an aluminium single-sided swingarm, both fully adjustable. The power cruiser features a twin-disc setup at the front with Brembo Stylema monobloc 4-piston calipers and a 265 mm single disc at the rear with a Brembo 2-piston caliper.

The Diavel V4 comes with all the bells and whistles on the electronics package that include different riding modes, traction control, cornering ABS, and a Ducati multimedia system operated by a 5-inch TFT colour screen.

The Ducati Diavel V4 will be available in two colours – Black and Red. When launched, the bike will be priced at Rs 25.91 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of competition, the bike will lock horns with the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114 and Kawasaki Z H2.
