Hero MotoCorp announces a price hike of select bikes and scooters from April 1. Here’s why.
Hero Pleasure Plus is the manufacturer’s premium 110cc scooter offering. It packs a youthful design, clearly meant to appeal to a younger audience. Prices of the Pleasure Plus start from Rs 68,368 and go up to Rs 77,268 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Hero Pleasure Plus Engine
The Hero Pleasure Plus is powered by a fuel-injected 110.9cc engine producing 8.1PS at 7000rpm and 8.7Nm at 5500rpm. Hero has equipped the Pleasure Plus with 130mm drum brakes at both ends. Suspension equipment includes a bottom link spring-loaded suspension at the front and a swingarm-mounted single shock at the rear. The Hero Pleasure Plus rides on 10-inch wheels at both ends, wrapped in 90/100 section tyres.
Hero Pleasure Plus Variants
The Pleasure Plus is available in four variants: LX (Rs 68,368), VX (Rs 70,218), Xtec (Rs 74,268) and Xtec Jubilant Yellow (Rs 77,268), ex-showroom Delhi. The Xtec variant gets a LED projector headlight, a bright yellow shade and smartphone connectivity.
Key Features of Hero Pleasure Plus
The Pleasure Plus Xtec is draped in chrome garnish, like the headlight cover, mirrors and small highlights throughout, which gives a premium feel to the scooter. It also has a semi-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. An app called Hero Connect, provides a range of alerts like tow away, topple, speed, geo fencing and vehicle start. Riders can also locate their scooter in a parking lot via this app. The LX and VX variants however miss out on Bluetooth connectivity, chrome mirrors, backrest and i3S technology. It gets an analogue console with a small digital insert, along with a halogen headlamp.
Hero Pleasure Plus Competitors
The Hero Pleasure Plus competes against the Honda Activa 6G and the TVS Scooty Zest 110. In the same price range, you can also opt for the TVS Sport or Bajaj CT 110X.
