Latest Updated On 25th July’23: On 15th August this year, Mahindra is all set to reveal the highly anticipated Mahindra Thar 5-door variant in South Africa. Africa has been one of Mahindra’s largest international markets, with its presence dating back to 1996.
Prices: The prices of the Mahindra Thar range from Rs 10.54 lakh to Rs 16.77 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variants: The Thar is available in AX, AX(O) & LX variants.
Performance: The Thar offers a range of engine options to choose from. It includes a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 117 bhp of power, a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine with 131 bhp of power, and a 2.0-litre petrol with 152 bhp of power. These engines are available with the option of RWD & 4X4 drivetrain.
Dimension: The Thar comes with dimensions of 3,985 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width, and 1,844-1,855 mm in height. It boasts a wheelbase of 2,450 mm
Interior/Features: A broad selection of modern amenities, including a touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering mounted control, electrically adjustable ORVM, TPMS, power windows, voice command, and reverse parking sensors among other features.
