BMW Z4 Car Latest Updates

BMW has launched the facelifted Z4 M40i in India at Rs 89.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted Z4 gets slight exterior tweaks only as there are no changes to its cabin and powertrain. Its soft top roof opens and closes electrically in 10 seconds. The Z4 continues to be imported as a CBU unit, but carries a premium of Rs 10.4 lakh over the outgoing model’s initial launch price.

BMW Z4 Engine

It gets a 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six petrol, geared to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Its puissance of 340PS and 500Nm takes the roadster from 0-100kmph in 4.5 seconds.

The Z4 is offered in a single top-spec M40i trim.

It rivals the more expensive offering from German carmakers like the Porsche Boxster and Mercedes-AMG E Class Cabrio.
