Volvo C40 Recharge Car Latest Updates
Volvo has revealed the C40 Recharge in India. It is a SUV-coupe version of the XC40 Recharge SUV and packs the same powertrain specifications as well. The C40 Recharge will also be a locally assembled offering. The carmaker will launch and open the bookings for the electric SUV-coupe in August and customers will start receiving their vehicles from September onwards. It will carry a premium over the XC40 Recharge SUV.
Volvo C40 Recharge Engine
It gets a single powertrain option which comprises a 78kWh battery pack with a WLTP-claimed range of 530km. It feeds charge to its dual electric motors which send all its output of 408PS/660Nm to all four wheels. Fast charging compatibility allows for a 10-80% recharge time of 27 minutes.
Volvo C40 Recharge Competitors
It will rival the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
