Latest Update: Mahindra has added new features to the XUV400 priced at a slight premium.

Price: The Mahindra XUV400 is now priced between Rs 15.99 lakh and Rs 19.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

Variants: It is offered in two broad variants: EC and EL.

Colours: You can buy the electric SUV in five monotones and five dual-tone colour options: Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black and Infinity Blue. In dual-tone options, all these colours are available with a Satin Copper dual-tone shade.

Boot Space: The XUV400 comes with a boot space of 378 litres.

Seating Capacity: It has the capacity to seat five passengers.

Battery Pack and Range: The XUV400 EV comes with two battery pack options: 34.5kWh and 39.4kWh. These batteries are paired with a single electric motor that generates 150PS and 310Nm. The smaller battery gets an MIDC-claimed range of 375km and the larger one offers 456km. The charging times are as follows:

  • 50kW DC Fast Charger: 50 minutes (0-80 per cent)
  • 7.2kW AC Charger: 6.5 hours
  • 3.3kW Domestic Charger: 13 hours

Features: It gets features like a 7-inch touchscreen system with 60+ connected car features, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, a single-pane sunroof, cruise control and push-button start-stop.

Safety: On the safety front, it gets up to six airbags, cornering brake control, electronic stability program (ESP), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill hold assist and a rear parking camera.

Rivals: The XUV400 EV locks horns with the Tata Nexon EV Prime and Tata Nexon EV Max, while also being an affordable alternative to the Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV.
