The Audi Q8 e-tron SUV is expected to launch in India in August 2023.

Exterior:

On the outside, the Q8 e-tron gets a blanked-off grille, LED headlamps, an LED light bar, connecting light bar design, redesigned front and rear bumpers, large air dams, and unique dual-tone alloy wheels.

Interior:

Inside the cabin, the all-electric SUV will come loaded with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.6-inch touchscreen for various functions in the centre console, an all-digital instrument cluster, powered front seats, heating, ventilation, and massage functions for the front row, and a panoramic sunroof. Also on offer are features like a 360-degree surround camera, four-zone climate control, TPMS, and a 16-speaker Bang and Olufsen-sourced music system.

Battery, powertrain, and specifications:

The Audi Q8 e-tron will come equipped with a 114kWh battery pack with two electric motors. The motors will generate a combined power output of 405bhp and 664Nm of peak torque. This will help the SUV to accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 5.6 seconds.

Charging time and range:

The battery pack of the Audi Q8 e-tron will deliver a driving range of 600km (WLTP cycle). While the automaker will provide a 22kW AC charger with the Q8 e-tron, it can support up to 170kW DC fast charging, which will charge the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in under 31 minutes.

Variants:

The Audi Q8 e-tron is expected to get a single, range-topping 55 Quattro variant in India.

Safety:

The Audi Q8 e-tron has not been tested yet for any crash test safety ratings.

Competition:

The upcoming Audi Q8 e-tron will compete against the Jaguar I-Pace in the Indian market.
