Introduction
Toyota revealed prices for four top-spec Urban Cruiser Hyryder variants on 9 September 2022. These variants include the S eDrive 2WD Hybrid, G eDrive 2WD Hybrid, V eDrive 2WD Hybrid, and V AT 2WD NEO. That said, the brand will reveal the prices of the other variants in a phased manner. While the prices will be announced shortly for the CNG variant.
Exterior
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder features a modern design language. It gets LED
projector headlights, split daytime running lights adjoining the blanked-off grille, 17-inch alloy
wheels, U-shaped taillights, and vertically-positioned reverse lights and turn signals on the rear
fenders. It is available in seven mono-tone and four dual-tone
colour (black roof) options.
Interior
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder gets a dual-tone black and brown theme with silver colour
inserts. For a premium feel, it gets soft-touch material on the lower portion of the dashboard and
door pads. The dashboard is highlighted by a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Depending on the variant, the feature list includes automatic
climate control, connected car technology, and a 360-degree camera.
Engine and transmission
It is powered by a 1.5-litre inline-four strong-hybrid petrol engine mated to an e-drive automatic transmission and a 1.5-litre four- cylinder naturally aspirated K-Series hybrid petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual or six- speed automatic transmission. The petrol engine in the K-Series is also available in 2WD and AWD configurations. The CNG variant for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder will be fitted with a 1.5- litre K-series engine and a five-speed manual transmission.
