Tata Nexon 2023 Car Latest Updates

Tata Motors has unveiled the facelifted Nexon ahead of its launch on September 14. The 2023 Nexon takes significant cues from the Curvv SUV, which give it a sharper and more modern look in comparison to the outgoing model. The cabin has been reworked as well and packs big digital screens and touch-sensitive climate control and steering mounted buttons. New transmission options include a seven-speed DCT for the turbo-petrol and a 6-speed AMT for the diesel. 

Select Tata dealerships are also accepting reservations for the updated SUV. We expect it to carry a premium over the outgoing model. With all these changes, the updated Nexon could be priced from Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Tata Nexon 2023 Engine

The 2023 Nexon is powered by the same 120PS/170Nm 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. It gets a five-speed manual, six-speed manual, six-speed AMT and seven-speed DCT gearbox option. The 115PS/260Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine has been carried over with the same six-speed manual, but now gets an 6-speed AMT gearbox instead of an automatic transmission.

It is avaialable in seven variants: Smart, Smart+, Pure, Creative, Creative+, Fearless, and Fearless+.

Key Features of Tata Nexon 2023

The 2023 Nexon has received a reworked interior design and dashboard layout with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen that juts out prominently from the dash. New features for the SUV include up to six airbags, a fully 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and a 360-degree camera. Features like a sunroof, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity, ventilated seats, wireless phone charger, cruise control, keyless entry and push-button start have been retained. Its safety kit includes the aforementioned six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and tyre pressure monitoring system.

The 2023 Nexon will go up against the Maruti Fronx, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300 and Maruti Brezza.
