Tata Tiago Car Latest Updates

The Tata Tiago’s engine has been updated to BS6 phase II emission norms and is now E20-ready as well. Meanwhile, its EV sibling is a bit pricier than before, but it’s still the most affordable electric car you can buy right now.

In addition a Tiago CNG variant is also available with a 73PS 1.2-litre CNG powertrain, coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is available in four trim options: XE, XM, XT and XZ+.

Tata Tiago Engine

The Tata Tiago gets two engine options: 86PS/113Nm 1.2-litre petrol and 73PS/95Nm 1.2-litre CNG. A 5-speed manual is offered as standard, while the petrol engine can be had with a 5-speed AMT as well. In terms of fuel efficiency, the CNG returns 26.49km/kg. The Tiago is 3765mm long, 1677mm wide, and 1535mm tall. It has a 2400mm wheelbase.

Tata Tiago Variants

The Tata Tiago is offered in six broad trims: XE, XM, XT (O), XT, XZ and XZ+. If you opt for the CNG mill, your choices are limited to the XE, XM, XT and XZ+.

There are also five colour options to choose from: Midnight Plum, Flame Red, Pearlescent White, Arizona Blue, and Daytona Grey.

Key Features of Tata Tiago

The Tiago features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker Harman sound system, a rear defogger with a wiper, and automatic climate control. Passengers safety is secured by dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors. The hatch has also received four stars in the Global NCAP safety tests, making it one of the safer offerings in its segment.
