MG Hector Plus Car Latest Update

Price: MG has priced the Hector Plus from Rs 18 lakh to Rs 23.58 lakh (ex-showroom).

Variants: MG offers it in four broad variants: Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro.

Seating Capacity: It is available in both 6- and 7-seater layouts. A 5-seater Hector is also on offer. 

Colours: It can be booked in one dual-tone and six monotone colours: Dual-Tone White & Black, Havana Grey, Candy White, Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black and Dune Brown.

Engine and Transmission: MG has put both petrol and diesel engines on offer: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (143PS/250Nm) and a 2-litre diesel unit (170PS/350Nm). Both engines are paired with a 6-speed manual as standard and the turbo-petrol unit also gets an 8-step CVT for its 6-seater variants.

Features: Its features list comprises a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system present in the facelifted Hector. It also gets ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger and a powered tailgate.

Safety: Passenger safety is ensured by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC) and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) functionalities like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and auto emergency braking.

Rivals: The MG Hector Plus competes with the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700 and the Hyundai Alcazar.
