Toyota Hilux Car Latest Updates

Toyota has put a stop to multiple reports stating that there are heavy discounts on the Hilux and made it clear that the pickup is not available with any huge offers. But minor discounts on the dealership level might still be available.

Toyota Hilux Engine

The Toyota Hilux is powered by the Fortuner’s 204PS/500Nm 2.8-litre diesel engine. It can be mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The pickup will get a four-wheel drive with a low-range gearbox as standard.

Toyota Hilux Variants

The Toyota Hilux is offered in two trims: Standard and High. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard, while the High can be specced with an optional 6-speed automatic.

The pickup comes in five body shades: Super White, White Pearl, Grey Metallic, Silver Metallic, and Emotional Red.

The Toyota Hilux pickup gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, a powered driver’s seat, cruise control, and push-button start. Passenger safety is taken care of by seven airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, hill descent control, and electronic stability control.
