The facelifted Tata Nexon EV is going to launch tomorrow in India and the Tata’s updated electric SUV has arrived at dealerships. Following the unveiling of the ICE-powered facelifted Nexon, the Nexon EV carries similar design cues inspired by the Curvv concept.

It gets a full-width DRL strip and closed grille that set it apart from the combustion engine version along with a few additional features as well. The 2023 Nexon EV packs an all new electric motor that puts out 143PS of power and 215Nm of torque.

The 2023 Nexon EV features two powertrain options: a 30kWh battery pack paired to an e-motor generating 129PS/215Nm with ARAI-claimed range of 325km, and a larger 40.5kWh battery pack coupled to a 145PS/215Nm electric motor with an ARAI-claimed range of 465km. With 7.2kW AC charger, Nexon EV gets charged from 10-100 percent in 4.3 hours for the Medium Range variant and 6 hours for the Long Range one while the regular charger takes 10.5 hours and 15 hours for the respective variants. A DC fast charger can juice up the Nexon EV in 56 mins regardless of the variant.

The 2023 Nexon EV receives a revamped interior design and dashboard layout, featuring a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen that prominently protrudes from the dashboard. New additions to the SUV’s features include up to six airbags, a fully digital 10.25-inch driver’s display, and a 360-degree camera. Retained features consist of a sunroof, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity (now wireless), ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, cruise control, keyless entry, and push-button start. Its safety kit includes ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
