Price:

Jawa 42 Bobber is available in one variant but in 4 colours (Mystic Copper, Moonstone White, Jasper Red Dual Tone and Black Mirror). The Mystic Copper variant costs Rs 2,12,500, the Moonstone White variant costs Rs 2,13,500  the Jasper Red Dual Tone variant comes at a price of Rs 2,15,187 (prices ex-showroom Delhi) and the top-of-the-line Black Mirror varaint costs Rs 2,25,187.

Features:

Jawa 42 Bobber is based on the Perak, however, it is a more modernised and sporty version of it, sporting a fully-digital instrument console. It boasts a muscular fuel tank, with knee recesses. The bike comes with a redesigned LED headlight unit, with the tail-lamp and indicators being LED units as well. It comes with a well cushioned seat, with its footpegs position offering a comfortable yet a slightly sporty riding posture. The bike also gets a USB-charging port on its left switchgear.

Engine:

Powering the Jawa 42 Bobber is an OBD-2 compliant, 334cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which is linked to a 6-speed gearbox. It produces 29.9PS and 32.7Nm. Along with the OBD2-compliance, Jawa also updated the engine with a larger throttle body and exhaust ports for better grunt.

Suspension & Brakes:

Suspension duties on the 42 Bobber are handled via a telescopic fork up front and a re-tuned monoshock unit at the rear. Braking is looked after via 280mm front disc and a 240mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS coming as standard. The bike rolls on 18 inch front and 17 inch rear spoked and alloy wheels, which are wrapped in 100-section and 140-section tubed tyres respectively.

Rivals:

The Jawa 42 Bobber goes up against the likes of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Honda H’ness CB350, Yezdi Roadster and the Keeway V302C.
