Tata Harrier EV Car Latest Update
Latest Update: The all-electric version of the Tata Harrier, the Harrier EV, has been showcased at the Auto Expo 2023.
Launch: Tata could launch the Harrier EV in April 2025.
Prices: Prices for the Harrier EV could start from Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Seating Capacity: It has the capacity to seat five passengers.
Battery, Motor and Range: The Harrier EV, based on the OMEGA Arc platform, could come with a battery pack bigger than that in the Nexon. The Harrier EV will have a dual-motor setup with an all-wheel drivetrain and could offer a range of more than 400km.
Features: It carries over the features from the internal combustion engine (ICE) Harrier which gets a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging and rain-sensing wipers. It also comes with features like regenerative braking, a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and cruise control.
Safety: In terms of passenger safety, it could get up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and hill-hold and hill-descent control. Rivals: It will be a larger alternative to the Hyundai Kona electric and MG ZS EV.
