The TVS Scooty Pep Plus is the smallest capacity scooter from the Hosur-based bikemaker. With its lightweight and nimble design, it offers a convenient and hassle-free option for daily commuting.

The Scooty Pep Plus Gloss Series is currently priced at Rs 65,514, while the Special Edition comes in at Rs 66,514. Opting for the Matte Edition or the Princess Pink trim will set you back Rs 68,414 (all prices are ex-showroom Delhi).

Features:

TVS Scooty Pep Plus features an LED DRL mounted on the apron, a halogen headlight, an analogue instrument console, and an innovative ‘EZ-centre’ main stand, which boasts a claimed 30 percent reduction in effort. Additional optional features include a USB charging port and a side-stand alarm. The Matte Edition variant introduces minor cosmetic enhancements, including a 3D logo and a distinctive seat pattern. The scooter is available in four colors: Matte Black, Matte Blue, Purple, and Turquoise Blue.

Engine:

Powering the TVS Scooty Pep Plus is an 87.8cc engine that produces 5.43PS at 6500rpm and 6.5Nm at 3500rpm. This power is delivered through a CVT unit. Given the scooter’s modest curb weight of 93kg, it should offer effortless maneuverability.

Suspension And Brakes:

The TVS Scooty Pep Plus features an underbone frame equipped with telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear. Rolling on 10-inch alloy wheels with 110mm drum brakes on both ends equipped with CBS, this lightweight scooter maintains a 135mm ground clearance, an easily accessible 760mm seat height. The fuel tank capacity stands at 4.2 litres.

Rivals:

The TVS Scooty has no direct competitors in its segment. That said, it goes up against other 110cc scooters like the Hero Pleasure Plus and Hero Xoom 110, and the Honda Dio. Other two-wheelers that are priced somewhat close are the Ampere Reo, TVS XL100, and Hero HF Deluxe.
