Toyota Innova Crysta Latest Updates

The Toyota Innova Crysta has been re-launched with a mild facelift and an updated, RDE-compliant diesel engine. It gets an updated front-end styling, with a largely similar profile and rear-end design.

It gets only a single engine option, a 150PS, 2.4-litre diesel unit paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The features and safety kit is the same as before.

The Innova Crysta is priced at a premium of up to Rs 58,000 over similar variants of the Innova Hycross.

The 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta has started reaching dealerships ahead of its launch. The facelift, which will be sold alongside the new front-wheel drive MPV, is a minor one as all the visual changes are concentrated on the front of the MPV, which sports a new, squarer grille that is flanked by the same pair of headlamps as earlier. The fog lamps and the grille get a chromed outline. The petrol powertrain has been discontinued and the only available engine option is the 2.4-litre diesel. The MPV continues to be offered as either a seven- or eight-seater and prices for it are expected in the coming days.

Toyota Innova Crysta Features

Toyota hasn’t revised the list of creature comforts offered on the outgoing model as this one continues with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, eight-way powered driver seat, ambient lighting and keyless entry with button start. Its safety kit comprises up to seven airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, and hill-start assist.

Toyota Innova Crysta Competitors

The facelifted Innova Crysta will replenish its rivalry with the Kia Carens and Mahindra Marazzo, while being a more affordable alternative to the new generation Innova Hycross.
